Mid Century Modern Romick House By Stephen Gassman Available in Encino

5 Beds/5.5 Bath, 5,300 sqft. Last purchased in June 2005 for $1.8 million. Listed at $1,950,000 on February 12, 2012. Originally listed at $2,499,000 on May 1, 2011. This is a 1969 classic by Stephen Gassman also known as the Romick House. You can view a Julius Shulman photograph of the exterior from 1972 at the Getty Research Institute Digital Collections. Its hard to say whats original in this house because the only pic I have seen is the one by Shulman at the Getty which is only the exterior. But based on the listing photos, it looks like the house has been modernized meaning some of the original features are gone. I will let you be the judge.
