This home is currently available for $999,000 and was last purchased on September 21, 2006 for $1,190,000 during the heydays of the real estate bubble. According to the listing, this home was built by mid century modern architect, Richard Dorman, AIA, who was born in LA in 1922 and recently passed away in April 2010. He designed numerous buildings as well as private residences. He was also featured in a Life magazine story titled "The Take Over Generation" in 1962.
