Don's Restaurant and Coffee Shop in Burbank Postcard

Anything and everything about the San Fernando Valley. This blog will take you back in time when the valley was covered with dirt and orange groves to a leader in the space race to its current status as America's suburb. Come along and join me on this adventure, I guarantee you have been influenced/impacted by the San Fernando Valley in one form or another even if you have never visited or heard of the SFV.
I believe the Draper's owned Don's in the 60s and 70s. They had the best fish and chips. My brother & sister went to Highschool with the Drapers son who also worked there. My father owned a cocktail lounge called KEN & Rod's I believe on San Fernando rd near Bank of America possible cross street Ramona I think where he cashed payroll checks from about 1952 until he sold it in 1978. It was turned into a Mexican Restaurant. Thanks for the postcard and the memory.
