Filming Locations: Superbad (2007)
The 2007 teenage comedy film had some notable and remember-able parts filmed in the San Fernando Valley. This movie was directed by Greg Mottola and starring Jonah Hill (who purchased a home in Tarzana in 2011) and Michael Cera. The movie was extremely successful at the Box Office having grossed more than $170 million on a budget of $20 million. It also received many awards and critical praise.
This film was heavily shot throughout LA so click on the links for the other LA locations.
Liquor store robbery was at the 7 Days Food Store 1700 Victory Blvd Glendale. The parking lot of this strip mall is also used in this film.
The scene where Seth tries to steal liquor from the supermarket is the Jons at 1717 W Glenoaks Blvd Glendale.
Evan's house is 17200 Rayen Street Northridge.

The party house is at 17711 Community Street Northridge which is less than a mile southwest of Evan's home. Down the street was also used for when Evan & Seth are running through the neighborhood with the stolen booze in the 5 gallon gas jugs, then they get into an argument, and are finally stopped by the cops with McLovin.

The scene where the cops destroy their squad car and set it on fire is at CSUN Lot F10 parking lot 18111 Nordhoff Street Northridge CA (see image below). This lot is actually on the corner of Lassen and Lindley. I am very familiar with this lot because I always parked there when I was running late (which was everyday) and the rest of the lots filled up. This was before they constructed the parking structures. Those were some good walks.
