After just purchasing a newly built 2014 New England style home in Tarzana for his hot model wife, Shannon de Lima, Marc Anthony has had a change of heart in Tarzana listing it for $4,350,000 on August 20, 2015. This asking price is $225K above the purchase price paid back on January 6, 2015 equating to a 5.4% appreciation. Anthony will surely take a loss in some manner considering commissions are typically 6% unless he sells above asking. 

So why would someone sell after such a short period? Typically, its because of either of the "3D's", divorce, death, or debt. Or possibly for safety considering the home is somewhat accessible. Who knows but when you have Anthony's bankroll, it doesnt matter. 

Since we are talkiing about Anthony, he has a known history of real estate in the SFV starting with a Hidden Hills mansion that his previous wife, Jennifer Lopez, owns and is currently trying to offload. And prior to the Tarzana home, he owned a newly renovated Encino home that was just recently sold to NBA star, JaVale McGee, which Anthony barely owned for 18 months. Back on April 23, 2015, gossip juggernaut, TMZ, revealed that NBA star, JaVale McGee, purchased Marc Anthony's Encino bachelor pad on April 24, 2015 for $2,405,000. 

Anthony first listed the property back on Novemeber 7, 2014 for $2,750,000 after barely acquiring it 18 months earlier on April 23, 2013 for $2,225,000. Prior to the Encino home, he was living in West Hollywood after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez who were living comfortably behind the Hidden Hills gates. Coincidentally or not, Jennifer Lopez also listed her Hidden Hills home for sale in January 2015 which is still available at the time of this writing. And Anthony didnt venture too far away as he purchased a newly built Tarzana home for his third wife in January 2015. 

I am not sure why McGee purchased in Encino as he is not from the LA area. He is currently not playing for an LA NBA team as he last played for the Philadelphia 76ers but was waived on March 1, 2015 which happened one month prior to the Encino home purchase. So the only reason I can speculate for purchasing in Encino is a reality show that he started with his WNBA mom in 2014 called Mom's Got Game but I am not sure if that is still running. In addition to the Encino home, McGee owns a Annandale, VA home that was built in 2011.

As first reported by gossip juggernaut TMZ on February 9, 2015 and later followed up by the always hilarious Variety Realestalker, Marc Anthony has moved on to another SFV home, this time in Tarzana for his third wife, model Shannon de Lima. The home was purchased on January 6, 2015 for $4,125,000.

Since this home has a new build date of 2014, I was curious about its past. The prior home (shown below) measured 2 Beds/2 Baths on 1,995 sqft on a total lot size of 0.53 acres built in 1955 which showed elements of Mid Century Modernism. It sold for $850,000 on October 1, 2013 where it was completely demolished and leveled to build the grand colonial style home befitting for Hollywood's elite.

The home measures 5 Beds/6.5 Baths on 6,590 sqft on a total lot size of 0.53 acres built in 2014. The listing description states:

He also previously lived with Jennifer Lopez in Hidden Hills discuss on this site that she is coincidentally or not trying to sell now with no takers for about 1 month at the time of this writing.

The always hilarious Your Mama at the Variety Realestalker broker the ground breaking news on January 30, 2015 that mega star Jennifer Lopez has listed her Hidden Hills estate for $17 million or just slightly under $1000 per sqft. 

The home measures 9 Beds/12 Baths on 17,129 sqft on a total lot size of 3.13 acres built in 1992 and spread out over 2 parcels. The listing description states:

View estate of 17,129 sq. ft. with 9 bedrooms on 3 acres in the guard-gated equestrian community of Hidden Hills. The property will impress and appeal to everyone and is a perfect fit for the working entertainer. Based on the current asking price, Lopez is looking to gain double the price or $8.8 million in less than 5 years of living. I am not sure how this home was handled in the divorce proceedings so its possibly Anthony gets nothing from the sale or his share was bought out. 

Speaking of Anthony, he settled down in an Encino home conveniently or not located next to the 101 in April 2013 and later relisted on November 2014. You can view the listing pictures and details for the 2013 purchase which includes pics of the Hidden Hills home and the 2014 listing. 

The reason for the move according to TMZ is that the house is simply too big for Lopez to maintain and has her sights set on a smaller Malibu view home of the Pacific.  She already owns mansions in the East Coast with a Hamptons purchase in May 2013 and a New York City purchase in October 2014.

On April 23, 2013, Latin singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer, Marc Anthony, purchased an Encino mock-Med mini mansion in the Amestoy Estates area as revealed by TMZ and blogged here for $2.225 million. Flash forward 18 months and Anthony has had a change of heart and listed the home for $2.750 million on November 7, 2014. 

After comparing both listings, 2013 vs. 2014, the listing description is almost identical with minor edits. Overall, the home is the same with cosmetic changes like new flooring, paint, and fixtures. The listing description states that "over $300K in renovations" were made but the same comment was said when Anthony purchased in 2013. So I doubt that $300K in improvements were made after Anthony purchased aside from the cosmetic changes which probably cost $50K. Anthony is looking to gain $525K or 24% based on the current asking price. Has the market appreciated 24% in 18 months? I am not a RE expert so lets see what the market decides.

The home measures 5 Beds/6 Baths on 6,263 sqft on a total lot size of 0.41 acres built in 1988. The listing description states: 

Enter your entertainer's paradise. Tucked away behind gates and within a gated community is this gorgeous Spanish mansion. Over $300,000 in renovations have made this home an idyllic retreat. Its not known why Anthony is selling but it could be related to a new court judgement handed down to him in June 2014 where his child support payments for two boys from his second wife, former Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres, doubled from $13,400 to $26,800. Talk about a blow to the stomach! Prior to Torres, Anthony was married to Debbie Rosado where he had a daughter and adopted a son. After Torres, Anthony was married to Jennifer Lopez where they lived in Hidden Hills and had twins. Also in June 2014, their divorce was finalized with Lopez retaining physical custody of the twins. So I am wondering how much does Anthony pay in child support payments each month? $30K? $40K? $50K? 

I am guessing Anthony will stay in the SFV to be close to his children that is just speculation.

According to the gossip kings at TMZ, Latin singer-songwriter, actor, and record producer, Marc Anthony, has just purchased an Encino mock-Med mini mansion in the Amestoy Estates area which is located north of Ventura Blvd and South of the 101 Freeway (as a matter of fact the home is a stones throw away from the 101 and not too far from the old Edward Everett Horton ranch) for reportedly $2.5 million. Online property records dont reflect any transactions occurring in this amount or in Anthony's name so we have to assume that TMZ is correct and that the records will be updated  in the near future. 

The home measures 5 Beds/4.5 Baths on 6,263 sqft on a total lot size of 0.41 acres built in 1988. Prior to Anthony's purchase, this property was purchased for $1.4 million on January 14, 2011. The pictures shown above are from the 2011 listing and not the most recent sale.  However, the listing description from when the home was first listed on October 4, 2012 is below which states that over $300K has been invested in the property so one can assume that the home looks much different than what is shown above.

When Anthony was married to Jennifer Lopez (married on June 5, 2004), they lived in a massive Hidden Hills mansion (shown above) which is currently occupied (and I guess 100% owned??) by Jennifer Lopez. The home measures 9 Beds/11.25 Baths on 17,129 sqft on a total lot size of 3.04 acres built in 1993. This home was purchased by the Lopez and Anthony on January 15, 2010 for $8.2 million from retired businessman, Andrew McIntyre, who was the former chairmen of AME Inc., which was acquired by Arctic Oil and Gas in the later 1980's. The listing description states:
