The home measures 9 Beds/12 Baths on 17,129 sqft on a total lot size of 3.13 acres built in 1992 and spread out over 2 parcels. The listing description states:

Lopez originally purchased this property on January 15, 2010 for $8.2 million back when she was married to Marc Anthony (married in June 2004), but later separated in June 2011, and finalized the divorce in June 2014. Based on the current asking price, Lopez is looking to gain double the price or $8.8 million in less than 5 years of living. I am not sure how this home was handled in the divorce proceedings so its possibly Anthony gets nothing from the sale or his share was bought out.

The reason for the move according to TMZ is that the house is simply too big for Lopez to maintain and has her sights set on a smaller Malibu view home of the Pacific. She already owns mansions in the East Coast with a Hamptons purchase in May 2013 and a New York City purchase in October 2014.
