Edward Fickett’s Fryman Estates Home Returns to the Market for $5.799 Million
An Edward H. Fickett home that appeared on SFV Blog more than a decade ago is back on the market. Built in 1975, 11927 Ashdale Lane in Studio City’s Fryman Estates is now offered for $5,799,000, according to the current Carolwood Estates listing.
The new listing adds an interesting chapter to the home’s architectural history. According to the marketing description, the original owner befriended Fickett and commissioned a residence inspired by the architect’s own final home in Trousdale Estates. That connection gives this wooded Studio City property a more personal story within Fickett’s body of work. Current listing.

The listing describes twelve floor-to-ceiling Fleetwood doors and seven clerestory windows, with retracting glass panels opening the interiors to gardens, mature trees and water features.
