Television writer and producer Mark Wilding has listed his longtime Studio City home for $3.199 million, bringing a familiar San Fernando Valley celebrity property back to the market nearly 14 years after he purchased it.
A 2013 SFV Blog Story Comes Full Circle
Longtime readers may remember that I first wrote about Wilding’s move from Tarzana to Studio City in a March 2013 SFV Blog article. That earlier post covered both the sale of his Tarzana home and his purchase of this Studio City property, but it also traced a longer residential history across the San Fernando Valley.
Based on the sale records documented in that article, Wilding moved progressively east through the Valley—from Woodland Hills to Tarzana and then Studio City—while remaining an SFV homeowner for more than three decades.
Woodland Hills
Wilding’s earliest Valley residence documented by this blog was in Woodland Hills.

Nearly 14 Years of Ownership
Wilding paid $1.825 million for the Studio City home on August 20, 2012, after it had been listed for $1.875 million. The property returned to the market on July 20, 2026, with an asking price of $3.199 million.
If the home sells for the full asking price, that would represent a gross increase of $1.374 million, or roughly 75 percent, over Wilding’s 2012 purchase price. That figure is not the same as profit because it does not account for commissions, taxes, financing, maintenance, renovations, insurance, or other ownership costs.
From Grey’s Anatomy to Good Girls
Wilding may not be a household name, but his television résumé includes several familiar series. He has worked as a writer and producer on Grey’s Anatomy, Charmed, Private Practice, Scandal, and Good Girls, among other productions.
His two Emmy nominations came as part of the Grey’s Anatomy producing team in 2006 and 2007, helping connect this quiet Studio City residence to one of television’s longest-running drama franchises.
Inside the Studio City Home
The single-story East Coast Traditional ranch sits on a quiet cul-de-sac near Tujunga Village. The current listing describes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, approximately 4,300 square feet of living space, and a 0.26-acre lot.
Although the home presents as a newer traditional residence, public-record information displayed with the listing gives it a 1939 origin and a 2012 renovation date. Inside, the house features walnut hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, dormer windows, crown moldings, custom millwork, and marble fireplaces. Formal living and dining rooms lead into a large great room designed for everyday living and entertaining.
The chef’s kitchen includes marble countertops, an oversized center island, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and generous workspace. The flexible floor plan provides three secondary bedrooms in addition to a private primary suite with a spa-like bathroom.

The indoor-outdoor arrangement feels especially well suited to Studio City, where proximity to major studios and Ventura Boulevard can still come with a private residential setting.
The current photographs offer an updated look at the home after nearly 14 years of Wilding’s ownership. It remains a polished example of the large traditional ranch houses tucked into the neighborhoods around Tujunga Village and Toluca Lake.
