Back on February 9, 2015, the always informative Lauren Beale at LA Times Hot Property revealed that TV/Film Producer, Mark Burg, listed his home for sale on February 5, 2015 for $2,599,000 which sold on April 3, 2015 for $2,385,000.

Burg has had an accomplished career as a producer for the Saw film series, Two and a Half Men TV series, and a bunch of other movies going back to 1986 like classice Bull Durham and Cant Buy Me Love

The home measures 5 Beds/4.5 Baths on 4,929 sqft on a total lot size of 0.33 acres built in 2006. The listing description states:
This newer built Tuscan inspired, South of Ventura Blvd home has 5-bedrooms, 4.5-bathrooms in almost 5,000 sq ft, on over a 1/3 acre flat, private & gated lot. Wood & stone flooring, granite counters, crown & base moldings, stainless steel appliances, plantation shutters, 3-fireplaces, a rotunda entry hall, iron railings, several balconies, antiqued stone accents & a barrel tile roof are just some of the details. Other features are a formal living & dining room, downstairs office, family room with an eating area adjoining the center-island kitchen, master bedroom with soaring ceilings & views, 2-large walk-in closets, a sitting area and a luxurious bathroom with a double-sided fireplace. The park-like grounds feature numerous fruit trees & rose bushes, a perimeter of tall ficus hedges as well as a gorgeous swimming pool & spa.

Burg purchased this property on October 31, 2006 for $2,590,000 representing a loss of $205K not including expenses. Not sure how Burg was using this property as he purchased a Beverly Hills home (shown above which is on the edge of Beverly Hills/Sherman Oaks overlooking the SFV) in the celebrity gated Mulholland Estates community for $8.5 million on May 20, 2008. The home measures 6 Beds/6 Baths on 10,181 sqft on a total lot size of 0.86 acres built in 1999 and located in a cul-de-sac across from Shaq O'Neal's former home that was featured in MTV Cribs.

Burg seems to love the Sherman Oaks area as he previously lived in two other Sherman Oaks homes. The home (shown above) prior to the one mentioned above was purchased on May 3, 2002 for $575,278 and sold on October 8, 2008 for $1,060,010. The home measured 3 Beds/3 Baths on 2,379 sqft on a total lot size of 8,069 sqft built in 1948.

The second home (shown above, pics dont represent Burg's time at the home) was purchased on December 15, 2000 for $650,006 and sold on August 27, 2003 for $980,000. The home was remodeled in 2005 so the original specs are not available. It is currently available for $4,795,000 with 7 Beds/8.5 Baths on 9,050 sqft on a total lot size of 0.52 acres.
