Fresh from the LA City Council is a proposal to build 73 new single family homes at 16132 Chase Street in North Hills (also 16120 Chase, 16110 1/2 Chase, and 8454 Woodley). The 10.9 acre lot is located at the corner of Woodley and Chase and is owned by Anheuser-Busch which has long been used as truck parking lot and surprisingly a private nursery. Keep in mind that the top half of the land will be developed with the bottom half where the majority of the trucks are parked will remain.

Woodley and Roscoe was already crowded so this should make things interesting.

  1. This is a terrible idea. This part of Woodley is already very crowded. Why couldn't someone have put in a nice park there? Or even a dog park? Is it ALWAYS about the money having to develop every single inch of land instead?
