The always hilarious Your Mama at the Variety Realestalker broke the news on September 23, 2014 that 2 time Grammy winner singer-songwriter, Colbie Caillat, quietly purchased a Hidden Hills mansion for $6.1 million on August 20, 2014.

The home measures 6 Beds/8 Baths on 8,400 sqft on a total lot size of 1.14 acres built in 2013. There is no listing description available but the home comes with all the amenities as would be expected with spending $6 million.

Prior to this home, Caillat was living in a Westlake Village home that was purchased in 2010 and recently sold which was also discussed at the Variety Realestalker here. Prior to the Westlake Village home, Caillat was living in Tarzana "north of the blvd" with her parents which was discussed on this site. According to Zillow, this home is reportedly where Caillat wrote songs for her album "Breakthrough." Caillat was raised in Thousand Oaks/Newbury park and her parent's homes were also discussed on this site.  The Variety Realestalker also revealed that British actor David Oyelowo who is set appear in the animated series, Star Wars Rebels, purchased Caillat's Tarzana home for $1.3 million on March 5, 2014 which I completely missed.
