According to the listing description, the former home of Pernell Roberts who played "Adam Cartwright" on the TV western series Bonanza (1959 - 1965) has hit the market in Northridge for $750,000 on April 30, 2014.
In addition to performing in Bonanza, Roberts also played as the chief surgeon "Dr. John McIntyre" on the TV show Trapper John, M.D. (1979 - 1986). I wasnt able to verify if Roberts truly owned this home as I believed he probably lived in it during the 1960s to 70s which online property records dont typically go back that far. Additionally, the Movieland Directory did not list any Northridge or SFV homes. However, a website devoted to Bonanza mentioned Roberts living in a Northridge home but unfortunately doenst list an address. So relying on the realtor here for the truth but if you plan to purchase this home because of its celebrity connection, conduct your own due diligence. Roberts recently passed away in his Malibu home on January 24, 2010 at the age of 81 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. You can also read a tribute to Roberts here.
The home measures 5 Beds/3 Baths on 2,707 sqft on a total lot size of 0.63 acres built in 1953. The listing description states:
