Former Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Encino Estate Listed for $9.495 Million

A former Encino home of singer and television host Nick Lachey and television personality Vanessa Lachey, formerly Vanessa Minnillo, has returned to the market. The gated Rancho Estates property is offered for $9,495,000 following a July 2026 price reduction.

Nick rose to fame as a member of the pop group 98 Degrees before expanding into television and production. Vanessa first became widely known as Miss Teen USA, an MTV host and an entertainment correspondent. The couple later became familiar to streaming audiences as co-hosts of Netflix programs including Love Is Blind and The Ultimatum.

The Lacheys purchased the Encino residence in August 2011 for approximately $2.85 million, shortly after their wedding. They sold it in June 2016 for approximately $3.995 million. The property has since undergone a substantial redesign and is now marketed as The Ambra.

Set near the end of a cul-de-sac, the contemporary Mediterranean-style estate is approached through double gates and a six-car motor court. The remodeled interior combines white-oak flooring, curved archways, brass accents and wood-beamed ceilings, along with five fireplaces.

The kitchen centers on an oversized Taj Mahal quartzite island and connects to large indoor-outdoor entertaining areas. Additional amenities include a movie theater, whole-home surround sound, a gym and a secluded office. The primary suite features Venetian plaster, spa-inspired finishes and dual water closets.

The Lacheys' San Fernando Valley real-estate history

The blog also documented the Valley connection of Nick's younger brother and fellow 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey. Drew and his wife, Lea, owned a home in Woodland Hills from 2005 until 2009. The original 2011 Lachey article reported that they purchased the residence for approximately $1.44 million and later sold it for approximately $1.17 million. Drew's Woodland Hills residence was also included in the blog's 2012 overview of the Lachey and Simpson families' San Fernando Valley real-estate connections: “Celebrity Real Estate: The Simpsons List Encino Mansion” .

Years after selling the Belinda Street property, Nick and Vanessa returned to Encino and purchased a newly built modern farmhouse in 2024. They subsequently placed that residence on the market in 2025, continuing the couple's long-running connection to Encino and the western San Fernando Valley.
