SJE Summer Carnival Returns to Chatsworth for Memorial Day Weekend 2026
The annual St. John Eudes Summer Carnival is returning to Chatsworth for Memorial Day weekend, bringing four days of family fun, live entertainment, carnival rides, games, food, and community celebration to the northwest San Fernando Valley.
Hosted by St. John Eudes Parish, the carnival will take place at 9901 Mason Avenue in Chatsworth from Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, 2026. This year’s event expands to four days and features live entertainment throughout the weekend, along with rides, prize games, and a variety of food options, including American, Filipino, and Hispanic favorites.
Carnival hours are:
- Friday, May 22 | 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. |
- Saturday, May 23 | 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. |
- Sunday, May 24 | 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. |
- Monday, May 25 | 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. |
Visitors can expect entertainment under the big tent all weekend, with scheduled performances including

- Irish Dance Group
- DJ Ceasar Flores
- DJ Mike Garcia
- Green Central Station Band
- Grupo Folklorico Huitzillin

- Soul Mates Band
The SJE Summer Carnival has become a local tradition, bringing together parish families, school families, neighbors, volunteers, sponsors, and visitors for a festive weekend that supports the St. John Eudes community. This year’s event is made possible through the support of parish and school volunteers, along with sponsors and exhibitors from the local community.

Disclaimer: I personally attended this event with my family last year, and my two young daughters really enjoyed the carnival. It was a fun, family-friendly event with rides, food, games, and a welcoming community feel. We had a great time and plan to go again this year.
