CicLAvia Map for SFV Revealed

I first talked about the infamous cycling event back on October 6, 2013 and May 29, 2014 and now the 5.5 miles long map has been revealed which most people knew was going to revolve around the Red Line Subway station. The organizers except this to be an annual event so if you miss it, I guess there is always next year.

  1. I would NEVER hire a company run like a hobby, or with questionable financials. That would be Fresh Air Systems LLC. All three of the company work vehicles are routinely parked day and night seven days a week on the business owner's RESIDENTIAL street (near me) when not on call. Los Angeles prohibits parking of commercial vehicles on residential streets for more than 3 hours unless on the job. Municiple Code MC 80.69.2. This has been going on for a year now. Vehicles include two white Chevrolet utility vans with California license plates 8B58109 and 8Z44763 (odd how these are not commercial plates on clearly commercial vehicles--maybe I'll send a heads up note to the state tax people FTB) and one white Dodge utility van California license plate AF75R01 (temporary paper plate). All are routinely parked in front of 24331 Caris Street Woodland Hills or directly across the street in front of another neighbor's house. A previous Fresh Air Systems LLC utility truck (a panel van with commercial signs) was ticketed TWICE several months ago for being parked immediately around the corner at 6000 Valley Circle, also considered to be a residential area. Interesting to know that Fresh Air Systems has a "Business" address on Ventura Boulevard (likely a post office box). The street address where all of these commercial vehicles are routinely parked day and night seven days a week when not in use is listed in initial business filings with Los Angeles county clerk and CA Secretary of State. Would you hire a company whose owner blatantly ignores the law and is disrespectful of his neighbors? Would he also be disrespectful towards his customers? Honest?
