1960's Woodland Hills Mid Century Modern Home Available

[Update August 30, 2012]: This home sold at the asking price of $529,000 which was completed in roughly 2 months.

[Original Post]:
4814 Rosa Road
3 Beds/1.75 Bath on 1,696sqft on a total lot size of 0.57 acres (with a big portion of the land on a hill) built in 1960. The home is currently available for $529,000 in Woodland Hills. This home last sold for $305,000 on March 12, 1991 which equates to $515,241 in today's net present value. So the asking price is not too far off with the historical inflation rate with all else being equal.

According to the listing:
Artist's Retreat! Adorable Mid Century Modern Home with an expansive living room that looks out onto a charming deck area with sunken spa and partial view of the valley. This much loved home has details the mid century enthusiast will certainly appreciate: Soaring ceilings, a large utility room with built in ironing board, and great similarity to Eichler homes. The almost original kitchen has Formica counter tops, the latest innovation of that time. Great attention has been given to maintain the originality and charm of the era. A true oasis nestled in the hills on over a 1/2 acre, this home offers unmatched privacy.
I would be cautious on the use of the Eichler reference as this home is clearly not an Eichler and there are some distinct differences. However, this is a classic Mid Century Modern home with the post and beam construction, open floor plan, and plenty of windows to bring in light that resembles more of a Palmer and Krisel design also in Woodland Hills. You can view an Eichler from Granada Hills here as well as other Mid Century Modern homes here
