The always informative folks at LAT Hot Property revealed on September 19, 2014 that Queens of the Stone Age guitarist, Troy Van Leeuwen, has just purchased a Glendale home for $1.365 million on August 28, 2014.

The home measures 3 Beds/3.25 Baths on 2,921 sqft on a total lot size of 0.27 acres built in 1936. The listing description of the home states:
Casa de las Seis Palmas, House of the Six Palms, a 3 story Spanish Colonial Revival sited on a terraced street to street lot at the top of Valley View. With distinctive personality and intact original features, this home is dramatic and unique. Two bedrooms & one full bath up, Bed/Bath on main level, Bath/maid's on lower level. Resort like backyard with an amazing Pool House w/ fireplace & bath adjacent an outdoor kitchen. A colorful departure from the ordinary, this is a must see.

I am not sure where Van Leeuwen was living prior to the Glendale home but on March 1, 2007, he purchased a Woodland Hills home (shown above) for $1,275,000 that was later foreclosed on November 7, 2011 based on missed payments totaling $33,185.50. This home was co-owned by Serrina Sims who is a vocalist in a group called Sweethead that also has Van Leeuwen as the guitarist. The home eventually sold on March 30, 2012 and was most recently re-listed for $1,497,275 but withdrawn in October. The home measures 5 Beds/4.25 Baths on 4,348 sqft on a total lot size of 0.57 acres built in 1990.
