The Taste Food Festival by Los Angeles Times Featuring 8 SFV Restaurants

The LA Times’ annual food festival, The Taste, during Labor Day Weekend (August 29 - 31) at Paramount Pictures Studios will feature a stellar lineup of Valley-area restaurants that will be participating.

Neighborhood die-hards will be excited to know that the SFV – often (unfairly) overlooked in Los Angeles’ “best of” food-centric roundups – truly shines as a local mecca of great cuisine in one of Southern California’s most acclaimed celebrations of all things culinary.

The lineup of local restaurants showcasing their fare includes:

·         Firefly of Studio City (sessions: Field to Fork, Sunday Brunch, Flavors of LA)

·         Girasol of Studio City (sessions: Opening Night, Field to Fork)

·         Lemonade of Studio City (sessions: Field to Fork, Dinner with a Twist)

·         Lotería Grill (sessions: Field to Fork, Dinner With a Twist)

·         Lum-Ka-Naad of Northridge (sessions: Field to Fork, Flavors of LA)

·         Pedalers Fork of Calabasas (sessions: Field to Fork, Dinner With a Twist, Sunday Brunch)

·         Public School on Tap of Woodland Hills (session: Dinner With a Twist)

·         Rocio’s Mole de Los Dioses of Sun Valley (session: Dinner With a Twist)

·         Tipple & Brine in Sherman Oaks (session: Dinner With a Twist)

·        Sun Cafe in Studio City (session: Opening Night)

In addition to all-you-can-eat bites and sips from these and other city favorites, the event will also feature panels and demonstrations accessible to both foodies and kitchen novices, with topics ranging from cooking with farmers market finds to making the perfect crushed cocktail.
