Back on July 25, 2014, the always informative Lauren Beale at LA Times Hot Property revealed that Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue listed his Calabasas mansion for $2.399 million on July 24, 2014 which at the time of this writing is still active.
Borrn Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna, Jr., Nikki Sixx legally changed his name to distance himself from his father and start fresh in 1978 at the age of 20. He later met drummer Tommy Lee in 1980 and founded Motley Crue together with guitarist Mick Mars joining through an ad in the local newspaper and finally singer Vince Neil who attended high school with Tommy. Despite spending a lot of time in Hollywood in particular Sunset Blvd, Sixx has a history in the SFV which will be discussed later on.
The home measures 4 Beds/5 Baths on 4,500 sqft on a total lot size of 0.35 acres built in 2005 located in the exlcusive gated community, The Oaks of Calabasas. The listing description states:

Sixx purchased this home for $1,890,000 on October 4, 2011 which if sold at the current asking prices translates into a gain of $509,000 which is pretty damn good for 3 years of residing in the home. The reason for the sale is that Sixx just married Courtney Bingham on March 15, 2014 who just announced are expecting their first child together which usually means that a bigger house is needed.
Not that the Calabasas house was small but, anyways, Sixx and Bingham just purchased a Westlake Village mansion that is double the size of the Calabasas home according to Lauren Beale at LA Times Hot Property which was disclosed on July 24, 2014, one day before the announcement of the Calabasas home for sale.

In addition to the Agoura Hills home mentioned above, Sixx and D'Errico may have owned a Malibu home (shown home) together or possibly just D'Errico. The Malibu home measures 5 Beds/4 Baths on 4,224 sqft on a total lot size of 6,750 sqft built in 1988. This home was purchased on October 16, 2006 for $1,520,000 and was later sold on April 20, 2012 for $830,000 representing a massive loss of $690,000 not factoring in expenses which I believe was burdened by D'Errico but dont quote me on that. This home is also available today for purchase at $1,995,000 which has been on the market for 49 days with no takers at the time of writing this post.

Sixx's home during the 80's was located in Sherman Oaks on Valley Vista Blvd. The home measures 3 Beds/2.75 Baths on 2,289 sqft on a total lot size of 0.34 acres built in 1940. The home was purchased by Sixx in April 1986 through the assistance of his then girlfriend Nicole while he was busy on the Theatre of Pain tour. The purchase price is unknown but Sixx later sold on March 22, 1988 for $500,000. This home was most recently sold on August 9, 2007 for $1,295,000.
When Sixx lived in this home, its been said that he would shoot up to $1,000 worth of drugs everyday which would also involve his other girlfriend, 80's singer-model, Vanity, aka Denise Matthews. If you had any doubts about this information, its actually true because Sixx would later publish a daily diary from his time at the house between Christmas 1986 to Christmas 1987 which was appropriately titled, The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star. This diary was found by Sixx later on and was published in September 2007. I happened to read this book when it first came out and the best way for me to describe it is that it feels like you are on heroin even though I have no idea what it feels like. Its very intense but a good read of what it feels like to be a rock star especially one of the top ones who was in the prime of his career.
On a related note, Bret Michaels of Poison lived down the street from Sixx but he purchased the property after Sixx left on January 9, 1990 for $685,000 and later sold at a loss for $530,000 on January 3, 1997 discussed here as well as other owned properties.
For the time periods not mentioned in this post like the early 80's, 1988 to 1999, and 2007 to 2011, Sixx possibly rented homes in Calabasas, Malibu, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, or Woodland Hills.
And for a bonus, Sixx and Motley Crue have many connections to the SFV as reported by The Metal Sludge and McrueLoyalty websites:
