I tried to confirm the residence of Don Knotts at this location with no success so I am relying on LA Times who are very accurate as well as the listing agent who are sometimes not so accurate. I confirmed with the Movieland Directory, Virtual GlobeTrotting, and the various property records databases. What I was able to confirm is that the last home Don Knotts owned was a condo at 1854 South Beverly Glen Blvd #402 in Beverly Hills.

This home was last sold on October 16, 2007 for $1,230,000 by the estate of Don Knotts with the original purchase date and price unknown. Surprisingly (or maybe not since last purchased at the peak of the market) this home has been listed on and off the market which is currently in a pending status as a short sale with the last listed price of $700,000.
