I had applied at 16 yrs old as a busboy and got hired as a cook and butcher (for fish market) and trained in the Tarzana Store. It was a good place to work and food was good. I use to cook all sorts of fish on a big barbecue surrounded by glass out there among the customers. Fridays I worked the fish market and we use to cut up smoked albacore with tartar sauce and set it our for the customers who were waiting to be seated.
