Celeb R.E.: The Estate of the Late Tige Andrews Sells in Encino

Back on April 28, 2015, the always informative Lauren Beale at LA Times Hot Property revealed that the longtime home of character actor, Tige (or Tiger) Andrews, sold in Encino for $2.1 million on April 24, 2015. Andrews is best known for playing "Captain Adam Greer" in The Mod Squad and "Lieutenant Johnny Russo" in The Detectives

The home measures 7 Beds/3.5 Baths on 4, 107 sqft on a total lot size of 0.28 acres built in 1960. The listing description states: 
Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and framed by stunning mature trees is this sweeping Ranch style home that sits on a 12,000+ sq. ft lot with over 4100 sq. ft of spacious living. This recently updated 7 bedroom home has a great floor plan! The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room has a sun drenched breakfast area. Step down family room with beautiful brick accents and glass doors leading to the lush backyard. Its not known when Andrews purchased this home but he died in it at the age of 86 on January 27, 2007.
